Charitable Bequests

Bequests to charity are the number one way families make gifts from their estates because there are no changes to income or ownership of assets. There is safety in making a bequest because if the person making the bequest needs the asset it is available to for their use. The charitable bequest is a great way to have the security and still make a meaningful difference in lives of the children served by the Boys & Girls Clubs.

Bequest suggestions of what to give: You may name a specific dollar amount, percentage of the estate, a specific asset, a collection, or the “rest and residue” (the remainder) of your estate to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs. You may also consider naming us on the beneficiary designation form of the following assets: bank & checking accounts, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts (IRA), annuities or life insurance policies.
